Barrel-Aged American Sour | 7.4% ABV | Blaufränkisch Grape Pomace
The voyage of a Saison from primary fermentation in stainless steel to a secondary rest in a chardonnay barrel from Wattle Creek Vineyard in Napa Valley with native mixed culture. After a year of rest, the liquid was racked back into stainless on top of an abundance of Blaufränkisch grape pomace from our friends at Beneduce Vineyards culminating in a single barrel of unblended liquid that exhibits medium to high acidity, a unique depth of tannin and a fun perception of mixed berries.
